Meet Dr. Valandra German, Our Owner

Valandra German is a native of Crossett, AR. She returned to the Pine Bluff area seven years ago. In addition to managing the day to day operations of Bella, she is the Co-Director of a research center and an Associate Professor at a local university.

 

Dr. German earned her doctorate in Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, her master's degree in Public Health from the Des Moines University of Osteopathic Medicine, and her bachelor's degree in Community Health Education from Dillard University.

 

Dr. German volunteers with several local organizations devoted to children and survivors of domestic abuse. She also enjoys participating in half marathon races, traveling with her family and a group of girlfriends known as the 'Belles'.

 

Dr. German started Bella Cleaning Services as an opportunity to provide financial resources to those who live in her community and needed extra income to support their families. In many American communities, families working low-wage jobs make insufficient income to live locally given the local cost of living. The living wage is the hourly rate that an individual must earn to support their family. All Cleaning Specialists at Bella Cleaning Services, LLC are paid a fair living wage.
